Welcome

Welcome to the Self-Realization Fellowship Temple at Fullerton, California. This temple is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship, a worldwide religious organization founded by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1920 to teach scientific techniques of meditation that will lead to a direct, personal relationship with God.

These techniques are available in a series of weekly lessons sent to your home from our international headquarters in Los Angeles, California. The lessons contain techniques of energization, concentration, meditation, and the higher technique of Kriya Yoga, as well as instructions on how to live a balanced material and spiritual life.

For further information we suggest that you visit our bookroom, located around the corner on Whiting Street, or stop by the information tables which are set up after Sunday morning services in the courtyard outside the temple.

As an introduction, we suggest that you read Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi. Copies of this spiritual classic are available in the Bookroom or in bookstores.

More information about Self-Realization Fellowship is also available online: About Self-Realization Fellowship.

The Fullerton Temple is regularly open for a Sunday morning meditation and a lecture service and a Thursday evening lecture service. It is open at other times for special events. For times and dates see the Service Schedule, Meditation Schedule, and the monthly calendar.

At different times during the year, Fullerton Temple has activities for teens and young adults. Their activities include sponsoring a movie night and performing in a Christmas play, as well as other interesting projects and events depending on the response.

For further information on teen activities contact the Sunday School or call the temple at (714) 525-1291 and leave a message on the Telephone Messaging System. Someone will call you back.
